Discover Pasta And...

Walking into Pasta And... feels like stepping into a place that understands why people love Italian food in the first place. It’s not about trends or fancy plating; it’s about comfort, flavor, and consistency. Located at 4990 W Atlantic Blvd, Margate, FL 33063, United States, this diner-style restaurant has quietly built a reputation among locals who care more about what’s on the plate than what’s on Instagram. I’ve eaten here more times than I can count, usually after long workdays when I want something reliable, warm, and satisfying.

The menu leans heavily into classic Italian-American favorites, and that’s where it shines. The pasta dishes are clearly the heart of the operation. You can taste that the sauces aren’t rushed. The marinara has that slow-simmered depth that comes from balancing acidity and sweetness properly, something food scientists from the USDA often point out as essential for tomato-based sauces. The Alfredo is rich without being overwhelming, which tells me they understand fat-to-liquid ratios instead of just dumping cream into a pan. I once watched the kitchen during a quieter afternoon, and the cooks were actually finishing sauces to order rather than reheating everything, which explains the consistency.

One dish I keep coming back to is what I’d call house-made comfort pasta, where the noodles hold onto the sauce instead of sliding off. According to research shared by the Italian Culinary Institute, pasta texture plays a major role in flavor perception, and this place gets that right. The chicken parm is another standout, especially when paired with a side of pasta instead of fries. The breading stays crisp, and the chicken doesn’t dry out, which is harder to pull off than most people think in a busy diner setting.

Beyond pasta, the menu includes salads, sandwiches, and a few baked specialties, making it easy to find something whether you’re craving something hearty or lighter. Portions are generous but not wasteful, which I appreciate. The James Beard Foundation has often emphasized balance and sustainability in everyday dining, and while this isn’t a fine-dining restaurant, the philosophy still shows in how thoughtfully the plates are put together.

Service here feels personal. The staff remembers repeat customers, and that matters. On one visit, a server noticed I skipped garlic bread and asked if I wanted it packed to go instead, a small detail that builds trust over time. Online reviews echo this experience, often mentioning friendly servers and quick turnaround, especially during lunch hours when locals from nearby offices fill the booths.

The location itself is convenient, with easy parking and a casual atmosphere that works for families, solo diners, and small groups. While it’s not a flashy dining room, it feels lived-in, like a neighborhood spot that’s grown alongside its customers. That kind of authenticity is hard to fake.

There are limitations, of course. If you’re looking for experimental Italian cuisine or gluten-free pasta options beyond the basics, the menu might feel a bit traditional. Still, for what it sets out to be, it delivers consistently. As someone who values straightforward food done well, I trust this place because it doesn’t overpromise. It just serves solid pasta, dependable flavors, and the kind of meals that keep people coming back week after week.

  • I had such an amazing experience at Pasta And. From the start, the dishes were outstanding — the polenta with speck was comforting and full of flavor, the carpaccio with black truffle was refined and delicate, and the porcini ravioli was simply perfection. The wine selection and cocktails were excellent, and finishing with an amaro was the perfect touch. Gianmarco, the owner, is incredible — he truly takes care of his guests like no one else. If there’s one place I would recommend, it’s definitely this one. A true Italian gem!

  • This restaurant is amazing ! Reservations are recommended. Ask for the daily dish. I tried the daily dish of risotto with prosciutto and asparagus it was amazing. As an appetizer I had the Burrata which was very fresh. My brother had the ravioli trufatta, which was not overwhelming, the truffles were so fresh and even had a woody finishing taste, fantastic! I asked the server for a wine pairing and he suggested the Nebiollo a very smooth red wine which is unusual. Everything is very authentic, made in house with Italian exported ingredients. Would definitely recommend it for a date night or a special occasion.

  • Excellent dining experience! From the moment we stepped into Pasta and, we knew we were in for a treat. The elegant atmosphere made our dining experience unforgettable. The warm, inviting ambiance made us feel right at home. But what truly made our evening stand out was the exceptional service, led by the incredibly personable and attentive waiter Juliano. He made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down, always ready with a smile and a genuine interest in our enjoyment. We were also especially touched when the Chef took the time to check in with us personally, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. The fresh pastas were exquisite and we enjoyed every bite. Our meals were rich in flavor and the ingredients so fresh. From the appetizer to the dessert, we were thoroughly pleased. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied, not only with the outstanding meal but also with the overall experience. Highly recommended!

  • If you dream of spending an evening in the heart of Europe, then Pasta and is the perfect place. From the moment you step inside, this restaurant immerses you in the atmosphere of true Italy. The authentic Italian staff, warm welcome, and cozy interior make you feel as if you’ve arrived in Piedmont. The star of the establishment is Chef Luigi, who cooks in the style of Northern Italy, capturing the flavors and traditions of the region. The menu is well-thought-out and authentic, and the staff knows it inside out. They describe each dish or drink as if they had just prepared and tasted it themselves. The wine list deserves special attention. I have currently taken a three-month break from drinking alcohol, but just looking at the wine selection at Pasta and, it’s clear that the choices are truly exceptional. The prices, of course, are steep, especially for my favorite wine, Sassicaia. But I will definitely be back for a glass of outstanding wine in May. There is an excellent selection of drinks to suit any gastronomic preference. The two dining rooms allow you to choose the atmosphere to match your mood—whether for an intimate dinner or a more lively evening with company. Pasta and is a place you’ll want to return to again and again to experience the true taste of Italy. P/s Be sure to pay special attention to the last page of the menu featuring truffles – it’s a true gastronomic delight. The truffle dishes here are simply exceptional, but it’s especially important to visit during the season when the aroma and flavor of these precious fungi are at their peak. Chef Luigi is incredibly generous with truffles, adding them lavishly to the dishes, and for that, he deserves special thanks. This is one of those rare places where every dish becomes a true culinary masterpiece.

  • This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant. First time our attorneys treated and I fell in love. I’ve gone with friends and family since and I look forward to going back for my birthday this week. Everything I have tried thus far has been amazing. You can’t go wrong with this place if you truly love authentic Italian cuisine. Plus the service and the owners are the nicest people. No matter where you are, make the trek to this hidden gem. It is to die for. Let me put it this way… the ambiance, service, food and wine were so delicious I completely forgot to take picture until the dessert. Lol

  • Easily one the best Italian dining experience you will ever have outside of actual Italy. The service is unmatched. The level of education among the servers is top notch. The wine and cocktail program are some of the best you’ll ever experience. The food is as good as it gets. I can’t wait to go back.

  • Pasta And is an absolute gem! From the moment we sat down, our server Giuliano made us feel so welcome, he wasn’t just kind and attentive, but also shared about the region of Italy that inspires their menu (we even learned they love gamey meats there!). We started with the beef carpaccio - so rich and flavorful. The bread was unbelievably fresh, and don’t even get me started on the olive oil… I was tempted to drink it straight from the dish! For mains, I tried the Elk Linguini special and wow!!!Having elk for the first time was an experience I’ll never forget. I’ll be dreaming about it days later! My husband ordered the Wild Boar Pappardelle, and the aroma alone was heavenly. Every bite was bursting with flavor. We wrapped up the night with a creamy, generous portion of tiramisu and the most divine espresso martini. Everything was perfect, and Giuliano went above and beyond to make our anniversary so special. We’re already planning our next date night here next month. Highly, highly recommend! Edit: omg I forgot about the drinks!!!! Absolutely delicious!!! My husband got an old fashioned style drink, I don’t remember the actual name, I don’t normally like an old fashioned but kept taking a sip of his drink. I got the Estate Tropicale and was just so refreshing and light, I felt very confident in whatever they were going to bring to the table, and this was my first time there! I just had a feeling!

  • We have watched the evolution of this restaurant over the last 18 years. We have been there many, many times and I have decided to write a review now because I believe it is the best restaurant in South Florida. It is family owned and run. The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated but the family touch makes you feel welcome and part of the family. The quality and presentation of the dishes are equal to the top restaurants around the world. The wine selection is amazing, some you can’t find in South Florida. They have a beautiful private room for any special occasion.
